Tartók is a nicely put together colt. He has a very short back, good shoulder, a perfect gypsy butt and overall balance. He will be black once he sheds his foal coat, and has 4 solid black legs all the way to the ground, with just a small star is the only white on him. Tartók is a happy colt who runs around the pasture and does some very nice one-tempe flying changes and other interesting Dressage movements.
Tartók's sire, Alaskan Winter (owned by Mutt N Wood Farm) has a strong background, sired by Vansilo and out of Arctic Winter (who is 1/2 sister to The Lottery Horse), Alaska goes back to lines of Billy Gaskin Horse, The Roadsweeper (UK), and The Paddy Horse giving some great bloodlines down to Tartók.
I can only say Thank You a million times over to his breeder for letting me bring him home.

(DAM: Blue Feather)

Feather was imported as a 10 year old from the wonderful
Coates Gypsy in the UK (www.gypsyhorses.co.uk).
Feather has beautiful reverse dappling and she was featured in the new edition of
Dr. Sponenberg’s
book on Equine Color Genetics to demonstrate the ‘reversed dapple’
effect seen only in true roan horses.
