Duchess is proof that good things come, to those who wait. I remember when Duchess was born, and I really wanted her then but I just wasn't in the right position to buy her at that time, so I watched her go off to another (great) home. Years went by, and I had a little spare change, so I looked up where she was and struck up a conversation with her owner, and before I knew it...Duchess was mine! I am still giddy with excitement over adding this outstanding roan beauty to our program!! Her sire, SD Denali, is one of the heaviest boned, most incredible, small palomino roan stallions I have ever seen, and I have been eyeballing his foals for a long time! Now we have been blessed with this gorgeous beauty, and I am really eager to see how she pairs with our stallions in the future, bringing with her the possibilities of not just heavy bone, heavy feather and amazing conformation and type, but also with fun color possibilities like palomino roan, buckskin roan, red roan, blue roan, and smokey blue roan! Oooooo....the possibilities are exciting!
